with a team of two photographers attending every event, we cover multiple angles with minimal movement, avoiding major intrusion on your ceremony.
we cover registry office weddings, humanist services, all church ceremonies and also civil partnerships.
for packages where images of the bride and/or groom getting ready are required, we can supply a male or female photographer to help you feel more comfortable if you wish.
there are many styles of portrait, but we aim to get one that suits you, be it a fashion model shoot, a dramatically lit street shot or simply time for your closeup!

weddings
Package 1
The photographer/s will document your whole Wedding Ceremony from the Bride arriving, the wedding vows (where allowed) and traditional group shots either outside or inside your wedding venue. Where photography during the service is not allowed, we will do our best to arrange posed shots afterwards, such as the ring exchange.
providing As many proof images as possible for you to choose from, supplying a final of 30 (max. size) 10x8 prints in an album

The photographer/s will document your whole Wedding Ceremony from the Bride arriving, the wedding vows (where allowed) and traditional group shots either outside or inside your wedding venue or previously agreed venue. Then informal candid photographs taken at your drinks reception of guests and wedding party ending with your cake cutting (or mock cutting) before you sit down for dinner.
we provide roughly 100 proof images for you to choose from, supplying a 20page leather-bound album worth £200 containing 40 (max. size) 10x8 prints, we'll discuss your layout with you when viewing your proofs and discuss any retouching requirements together.

Package 3
This is the ideal package for reportage style wedding photography to tell the story of your day. Your whole ceremony will be photographed from the Bride arriving, the vows (where allowed), with traditional group photography afterwards. Then informal candid photographs taken at your drinks reception of guests and wedding party and cake cutting before you sit down for dinner. The evening speeches always make for great photographs, then your first dance and some dancing (aprox. 1.5 hours) afterwards to end your days photography.
we provide over 100 proof images for you to choose from, supplying a 25page leather-bound album worth £200 containing 50 (max. size) 10x8 prints, we'll discuss your layout with you when viewing your proofs and cover any retouching requirements together.

As Package 3, but with the addition of morning preparations of either the bride or groom getting ready.

portraits
individual (either studio or location visit) - £100
we can either visit you at a location of your choice, where portable studio equipment will be used, or come in to our studio near the centre of Edinburgh. Cost includes a 1hour photo session including some time to get to know you, get you relaxed and answer any questions or overcome any fear of being in front of the camera you may have.
providing between six and ten proof images from which you choose your final two 8x10" prints from, plus a cd with your images.
family of four (either studio or location visit) - £150
we can either visit you at a location of your choice, where portable studio equipment will be used, or come in to our studio near the centre of Edinburgh where there's plenty of space, even for larger families. Cost includes individual and group shots in a 2 hour photo session, including some time to get to know your family, get you all relaxed and answer any questions or overcome any fear of being in front of the camera you may have. we believe in having fun at a photoshoot.
providing between 10 - 12 proof images from which you choose your final two 8x10" and four 6x4" prints from. plus a cd with your images.
costs for location are based on visits to an agreed indoor/outdoor place within 30 miles of Edinburgh, over 30 miles will incur travelling expenses at a reasonable rate (subject to any possible location permissions and entry costs not included). the costs are exactly the same if you would prefer a studio shoot in our comfortable, dog-friendly studio near edinburgh city centre. your prints are supplied flat in protective sleeves, to let you pick your own, individual choice of frame(s) or album. Additional prints available at cost or digital images can be supplied.
these are basic prices and are as described above, but please call to discuss any other requirements that you may have, or for smaller/larger familes/groups/teams, etc.
please ask about getting larger prints for framing or canvas mounting, as we can arrange large format printing and a framing service if required.
pet portraits
(either in our pet-friendly studio or a location visit) - £75 for first pet, £35 per additional animal
animals are normally more comfortable in a familiar environment so we can visit you at a location of your choice or your home, where portable studio equipment will be used, but we welcome pets to our studio. this includes a 1hour photo session plus some time to for your pet to get to know us. we're pretty experienced at handling animals, but if your dog, cat, hamster, lizard, etc, ultimately isn't happy in our studio environment, then we'll arrange an alternative shoot at another location for no extra charge.
we'll provide four to five proof images from which you choose your final 8x10" (or A4 sized) print from, supplying your print flat in protective sleeves, to let you pick your own, individual choice of frame(s) or album. digital copies of your images also supplied on CD.
